Close Shave

My Masonic Brother Dave is obsessed (he has 19 converts on his record  and only 1 that has gone back to a Mach 3) with safety razor shaving. On my birthday he presented me with a Merkur razor, a badger brush and some shaving soap. Well now, I am obsessed. I can't believe I actually look forward to shaving everyday.  So, I decided to take this healthy obsession to the next level and start making some shaving equipment to share with others.

The shaving handle is hand cast---made in the USA--- in solid (not plated!) sterling silver and has a synthetic garnet stone on the bottom with a chrome plated twist off safety razor head from India.  Overall length is 4.5". A pack of 5 Shark Super Chrome blades (best I have ever used) will be included. Shaver also available with a Track compatible head.

I love skulls as a reminder to be mindful and present (especially with a double edge blade at my throat) while having the gratitude for being able to enjoy the simple act of shaving. In the future, everyone will want to experience their 15 minutes of joy in the morning. 

My wife, Jodi, lovingly and generously made room in the medicine cabinet for all of my products and fast growing collection of modern and vintage safety razors. We are now planning a display case in the bathroom for them.
