Dear Jac, Thank you very much. Doing business with you is such a pleasure that I want to buy something even when I don't need it---can you imagine that? Best

November 20th, 2009 Hi Jac, I wanted to thank you for another beautiful penholder, which I gave to a friend of mine as a thank you present fororganizing a classical music concert which I took part in London. Hewas delighted. I also wanted to let you know what I have beenusing your pen holders for, in case you find the information useful inyour business. I am training as a classicalmusic conductor and a few months ago I was looking for a stand for mybaton. I went to Portabello market in Notting Hill in London, where Isaw one of your pen holders in a stall. The man told me about you and Ithen looked you up online. As soon as I saw the Buddha below I justknew it would be perfect on some many levels. Eh voila! Let me know what you think. With very best wishes, Nicholas
November 17th, 2009 Jac....just had to send an email.... I have purchased many things online, and with goodresults...but I have NEVER ever received a hand written thank you notefrom the company!!! I love the pens, but I'm still shocked that youtook the time to thank me for the order I gave to you. I love buyingproduct online, because it's easy. But I also love the personal touchyou added to my buying experience. No doubt I will place another orderwith your company...and no doubt I will tell everyone I know to buyfrom your company too, because of my experience with your company. BTW...I heard about your inkless pens in the Novemberissue of United's Hemisphere magazine....just in case you are trackingyour leads. Best regards, Pat Goeke ------------------
April 8, 2009 - James Greenspan My name is James Greenspan and I am a 41 year old neurosurgeon wholives in upstate, NY (between saratoga and lake george. Regardless ofthe push for electronic records, etc, the pen is still a powerful toolfor me. I love pens and have a number from a variety of companiesincluding Acme, Movado, Waterman, Lamy, Aurora, Visconti, etc. I havesome rare ones from Acme. All my pens mean something to me. I dont just"collect" them. While in NY on Front street for business, I purchasedmy first JZ pen in Nov 08 (skyline) at the Fountain Pen Hospital. I had2 more trips and bought carpe diem and white write no evil (withmonkies). Your pens speak to me and I love them. The style and weightof the pens are perfect. They are extremely well made. Anyway, I wouldenjoy a visit to your studio at some point. I appreciate the emails, including the coupons! Take care. BTW, great article in Pen World!Sincerely yours, James Greenspan
April 8, 2009 - Charles F. Jeffery Jac: Great pen, great concept! As a geographer and traveler, this pen complements the world time zone watches I often wear. Itlooks like you arranged skylines by time zone and longitude; maybe hadto consider height of skylines and copy write issues in the compositiondecision. May I may suggest the following changes, should you decide to produce further editions of the pen. Please see the attached matrix. · Flip Barcelona and London. Thiswill bring skylines into correct longitudinal alignment; but willimpact London Bridge being at the seam of the pen cap and body (a nicesymbolic Prime Meridian). To account for that, I’dsubstitute the Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco) or Space Needle(Seattle) ahead of the Statue of Liberty. To keep thenumber of skylines to 24, eliminate the Peace Memorial in New Zealandor the maybe let the Windmill (currently represents Denmark) representAmsterdam and remove the bridge (currently represents Amsterdam). · Flip Capetown, South Africa and Troy, Turkey. This will bring skylines into correct longitudinal alignment. · Flip Dubai, UAE and Moscow; again correct longitudinal alignment. · The skyline labeled Kyoto is, I believe, the Torii (Gate) at the Inland Sea, Miyajima Japan (at low tide). I visited the sight years ago—truly a wonder. Miyajima is part of the Hatsukaishi prefecture of Japan. Just some thoughts. By the way, while searching forthe New Zealand Peace Memorial, which was extremely difficult to findinformation on, I found web pages dedicated to peace and peacememorials. Might make a good follow-up to World Skylines. Thanks for a wonderful pen and concept. Charles F. Jeffery
April 24, 2009 - Dr. Brian R. Sinclair Greetings from Calgary and thanks for the prompt reply. I reallyappreciate your designs. I am an architect & psychologist -- I dosignificant consulting in Asia where an acknowledgment of death equatesto celebration life (Tibetan Book of the Dead for example). So theskull pens resonate.

Jac, You have an awesome attitude. I try to have the same- when I getoverwhelmed i try to just be grateful I'm making a living doing what Ilove. Not everyone can say that. Waiting for the KISS pen is no problem.
I can't believe you took the time to visit my website- THANKS! I wishI was as articulate as the surgeon who wrote the note... after 14 years(probably longer) of working your ass off you deserve to be a success!
Your friend, Mandy
P.S. Did you know your Racy Real Estate Alley Way pen has its own themesong? There's a song I hear in my head when I see it, just music atfirst but then the words are like the ladies talking: "Whatever LolaWants" by Sarah Vaughan and Gotan Project

Just this past Friday, I posted about the Jac Zagoory T. Rex Staple Remover. Over the weekend, I received a very gracious e-mail from Mr. Zagoory thanking me for the post, and giving me some information that helps put the price of the item in context. Mr. Zagoory explains that all of his pieces are made locally in the USA, using high quality pewter (as opposed to many pieces that are made with pewter from the Orient, which can have a high lead content, turning the pewter a dull gray over time). The actual staple remover mechanism is a new design by an American inventor, and the entire piece is hand-assembled and placed in a high-quality gift box that is also made in the USA. So while the staple remover is not inexpensive, I certainly regret calling the price "outrageous" without knowing more about it. And I'm so glad Mr. Zagoory e-mailed me, because it prompted me to go look at his website. Somehow it just didn't occur to me (I was sick most of last week, and not terribly coherent) that he would have other staple remover designs that would be just as enticing, but he certainly does. Click here to see his bear, lion, shark, gator, elephant, and (my favorite, pictured right) dragon, among others. Mr. Zagoory's website also has his staplers, pen holders, and pens available.

Hi Mr. Zagoory, It was a surprise and a pleasure to speak with you today. The inkwells you create are so very beautiful, and I would appreciate being advised if you should decide to make more. Thanks for your time today, and take care.
